Christmas Workshops at Acton Court
After the success of last two years’ workshops and requests to put on more this year, we are pleased to host five workshops at this very special venue this year, with a few changes and additions to keep it interesting for our loyal returning guests!
Step back in time with us, get away from the stresses of a modern Christmas, and focus on one of the more simple joys of Christmas preparations – dressing the home with a beautiful, natural Christmas wreath, garland or table decoration that you have created.
We have a range of half day workshops, and one full day, which includes a simple home cooked lunch.
All materials and refreshments are provided.
Friday 7th December 9:30am to 12:30pm or 1pm to 4pm Christmas Wreath Workshop £45
This is one of our most popular workshops, and everyone is amazed and delighted with what they create. You will receive step by step guidance on how to make a beautiful, natural Christmas wreath on a mossed base. You will be provided with a range of evergreen foliages, cones, berries, fruits, spices and ribbons to create a unique door wreath that you will be proud to display throughout the festive season!
Saturday 8th December 9:30am to 12:30pm Christmas table decoration with hurricane lamp £45
On this workshop you will receive step by step guidance to make a beautiful table centre, complete with hurricane lamp and candle. The centre piece will be the envy of all your festive guests. We provide a floral foam base, a range of evergreen foliage, berries and seedheads, fruit, cinnamon, beeswax candle and hurricane lamp. all you need to bring is yourself!
Sit back and admire your work over a mulled wine and minced pie at the end of the workshop.

Sunday 9th December 9:30am to 4pm Full day Christmas Wreath and Table Decoration Workshop with Lunch included £95
On this full day workshop, you will receive step by step guidance to make a Christmas door wreath in the morning. We will break for a warming home cooked lunch and refreshed after this, we will spend the afternoon making a Christmas table centre piece in a seasonal decorative container, complete with a candle. If kept cool, this will still be fresh for Christmas day. Relax by a roaring log fire and admire your creations at the end of the day over a glass of mulled wine or prosecco and a mince pie!
