Floristry skills using British cut flowers (2 days): 8th-9th July 2019

This course is designed for those who wish to work in floristry, using natural flowers, or who wish to use their own garden flowers for family or friends weddings or special occasions.

This is an intensive course that will include demonstrations and lots of opportunities for practicing skills using generous quantities of our own flowers.  The course will teach participants about the best of the natural cut flower varieties (not the standard range used in mainstream floristry), how to cut and condition them, and how to make a hand tied bouquet, a hand tied sheaf, and techniques useful for wedding work, such as wiring.

Dates: Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th July 2019 – 9:30am to 4pm
